OJAR Owner & Caretaker - Warming hearts with bits.

Given the problems we have had with newbie's giving out phone numbers etc. I have been given an idea I want to share.

For new members we can have a mentoring system where old-timers coach newbie's on what to do and what not to do.

I believe a same-sex mentoring would probably work best.

Pop your name on this thread if you're willing to coach newbie's on this site.

I would of course

Edit: don't think I could help them but I'd do what I can to protect them.

I think it's a good idea.  I'm in, but do we have to be called old-timers?  Grin

Christy,

you can be a "member of distinguished posts" or whatever title you feel is appropriate.

It seems everyone needs their own title these days.

I guess you can call me the OJar Methuselah

Is there going to be some sort of requirements for the persons that are coaching the new members, as much as in this list I don't see it happening, I don't want to get into a situation like the 13th step tha cowboy talked about in a recent thread.
