He finally moved out yesterday MichelleOC: We decided on the split about 3 weeks ago, but continued to stay with me. It took him all this time to find a place, furnish it, hook up utilites, get a moving truck. But yesterday was the day he took all the rest of his crap. I took the day off work cuz I knew it was going to be a rough day. I did some retail therapy, did some beauty things and went back to my place when I knew he was out.
He left behind a ton of stuff. I spent the day clearing it out and reorganizing. I'm big into organization, so at least I'm about half way to getting my place set. I'm getting a roomate as well. I found one at roomates.com, and shes "just like me" -- same age, profession, attitude...so at least it will work out for a bit (not sure cuz I haven't had a roomate in ages).
STBS tried to make a graceful exit - well, he tried to make it sound like he knew he was making a mistake in "letting me go", but that I should be strong, and that I will always have a place in his heart. Whatever, bottom line, he doesn't love me, and prefers his "freedom" to be a cheating bum than to be married to me. OK - I'll be darned if he'll ruin the rest of my life. I want to be as over him as he is over me.
Gosh - 11 years up in smoke. THat is what I find most surreal about this whole thing.
