A bit more detail... disillusioned: Besides being abusive mostly verbally and sometimes physically my stbx was also in the habit of lying and trusting everyone else except for me...That really frustrated me to no end...All he could do was listen to his parents who could do nothing else but turn him against me..I always put up with him and tried to make him see in every way that I could that I loved him but he just couldn't see..
His lying made me xtremely uneasy and I kept on wishing and hoping that he would change..Wishful thinking!
I just wish things had turned out differently..
