"Intimacy Pondered" Bob-Bob: [center"> “Intimacy & Love Pondered”
A poem inspired by conversation and thought,
what is intimacy and what is it's place in our relationships?
By: ©Robert 9-15-2003

Laying here so comfortable and completely secure,
holding each other with such a peaceful happy demure.
I feel the weight of your head laid upon my chest,
and for this moment, we lay here, in peaceful rest.
Times like this are but a moment out of many shared,
and times like this we have our souls to each other bared.
Allowing each other to be that individual and different soul,
and not wanting to take from each other, the others control.
Sharing emotions that each of us may have had,
even when those emotions are ones we've considered bad.
Supporting each other to help ourselves heal,
telling us the emotions are normal to feel.
There are possibly things, on which we may not agree,
but I think to each of these the others point we try to see.
We are open to each other in our minds and hearts,
and this is where true sharing of intimacy starts.
Each of us allowing the other to be ourselves,
wanting the other to be absolutely no one else.
It is in this freedom of “self”, we have found,
that growth in our thoughts and love can abound.
Please always remember that to your own self be true,
I promise to remember to do the same for you.
But if by some chance in this we may lapse and forget,
please let’s remember not to just walk away, give up or quit.
Instead let’s remind each other with a gentle touch,
that it is each other that we truly, most dearly love.[/center">

Re:"Intimacy Pondered" justmenow: The world has been waiting breathlessly for you to re-emerge since the sixth grade... If your current job doesn't work out, you could always do readings at Borders! ;D

Another masterpiece, Bob! Keep 'em coming. Maybe you could write a book and Michael could get it published for you.
Re:"Intimacy Pondered" JASPER: EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS!
