Party finney5: I'm going to have a divorce party on October 10th (something to occupy my time and prove to everyone that I'm fine) One thing, I've never really hosted a party before, so I'm wondering what snacks I should provide. I have no clue but I'd like some ideas!
Re:Party notmyself: i plan on having a party too when mine is final. it will be around valentines day. i think you could do some cheesy post divorce theme if you wanted like 'single salsa and chips' or 'chips and divorce dip'. ;D basically having chips, dips, maybe some raw veggies.... if you are planning on a meal spagetti is good or burgers and hot dogs. or you could ask everyone to bring a dish. good luck with your party!! have fun and congratulations too.
Re:Party INCT: I had a holiday party even though it was a few months after the divorce was final. I picked up platters and booze and cookies for kids etc..

Re:Party justmenow: I'm having a divorce party too on October 18th. I'm having wine, cheese, margaritas, chili, and a black wedding cake with the groom upside-down on top of the cake with his head stuck in the icing! Mostly a joke - I'm not *that* bitter about things!
