dream too real elisioleftalone: I work the graveyard shift, so I didn't get much sleep. What I did get... a dream that my wife (whose been gone for 8 weeks today) told me that she was "talking" to someone else. She said in the dream that he needed her and that I never loved her. It was so real that when I reached out to grab her from leaving, I could feel the pinch on my arm of her trying to make me let go.
That was six hours ago and I'm just now really realizing it was just a dream. It's amazing to me how long it is taking to get over. Anyway, I'm sharing it here in hopes of getting it out and getting past it. Trying not to think that it could be true (The her finding someone else, because I know I love her. I'm still here, aren't I?).
Re:dream too real Bocephus: Oh man.. Yeah, had a few of these myself. You could look back at a few of my posts, had 2 in particular about dreams. It's really hard when that happens. Hang in there. You're doing good if you don't invest to much thought (as I did) about whether or not the dream was some kind of sign. Just a bunch of random thoughts and information your mind is processing in a fancy way while you sleep.
On the flipside, I dreamt last night. My mom was yelling at me for leaving the cabinets open. I haven't lived at home in long time. Strange.
