Why me????
.

Why me???? ga_sunshyne: For the past 5 months or longer, I have been working with a lender to buy a house. Well the whole thng turns into an ordeal. I couldn't begin the process until I had final divorce papers which held the process up for a good two months, then I had to wait for the XH to refinance both of his cars and the house to eliminate my name from the loans, then I find out today that the A-hole that was handling everything no longer works for the company and they are unable to locate any of my records...ARRRGGGGGHHH, I could bite the head off of a ten penny nail right now!

THank God I have not put money down on anything to hold, otherwise I would probably be out of that too...considering everything I have been trying to do has fallen through.

I have had at least two homes that I absolutely fell in love with get sold out from under me because of this crap!

What a wonderful day it is :'( :'(

Re:Why me???? ww9111: This is happening because once your ducks are in a row you will find a house that will make you happier than the others you have already fallen for.

Everything happens for a reason, my dear. :)

Have you at least got back to the point of having some sort of approval or pre-approval so you can go house shopping some more?

Re:Why me???? ga_sunshyne: ww9111
No, I haven't gotten to the approval/pre-approval point. That is why I called today. He was supposed to be able to tell me something today. I call and they are like...he no longer works here! They would not elaborate on his departure either, so it may be a good thing. He had been quite nice and helpful though.

I am not so much worried about the loan, its just that I think if I can go ahead and move forward with me that I would be so much better off. As for the houses, they are a dime a dozen around here. New construction all around and the area has lots of jobs with lots of turnovers so there is always someone looking to sell a house. For those that got by me....i look at it as if it were meant to be, it will be.

And I am always on the look-out for houses. I ride through different sub-divisions on my way anywhere and I have e-mail alerts through one of the realty companies so I know when something new (within my price range) goes on the market.

It'll get better, I know. I just wish it would hurry up. I get my hopes up high then **BOOM** outta nowhere another bombshell.
