Breakin' up is hard to do..... Spectrum: I'm not sure why I'm posting this, I guess I'm just a little bit down.
This morning I broke up with my first real post-divorce love. I moved to Houston only to discover that the man who waved everything I've ever wanted under my nose really just wasn't interested in any kind of meaningful relationship.... Or at least, not with me. Hmph. :-[
After two and a half months of "wait-and-see-pudding," I finally decided that it is better to be alone than to be in love with someone who neither feels the same way nor has the intestinal fortitude to voice it out loud. The realization that I've (un?)knowingly been someone's "friend with benefits" for the last 10 weeks wasn't a pretty one.
I'm off to the dog park now with "Big D." Thanks, God, for my job and my dog. Thanks for my true friends. And thanks for ojar.
