That's not an oldie, I listen to allot of Punk stuff but listened to allot of the speed metal stuff when I was younger. Had friends playing allot of metal stuff in school but I was always kind of a punk little bastard. I even met and partied with Anthrax and a few others but I think you respect them more then someone like metal church who I also met the same time as anthrax. My buddies played with them but never really got that big outside of So. Ca. I saw you post offspring so I think you would like these guys. "Alkaline Trio"
