Tax Returns dulok68: So it is time to do the tax returns, and my wife - (must start calling her a letter or something) - lets say "DAX", has decided to come in and help!
And she really is....Helping organise the receipts, bills, invoices etc... seems to have got a passion for it. Actually came in last night with me at 7pm, we worked together til almost midnight. Back in again this morning by 9am.
Since the loss of my father & business partner in 2001 (see earlier post), Dax always said she would get involved and help more, but never really did. Did the odd bit of IT work in the office that I had taught her, but supposed to be doing 2 days a week. She might have turned up and done the odd day now and again (no prizes for guessing where she was instead).
BUT today - this is really positive. She is giving out all the right signals, wants to make a go of the business as well, wants to understand it more, I could do with her excellent organiastional skills (Capricorn's eh!).
Also being very pleasant & chatty & even a bit lovey-dovey. Taking this as being very positive - I'm in a positive mood this morning. Took some herbal sleeping pills last night, slept right through from midnight to 8am. YES! a decent nights sleep at last.
And only 27.5 hours to counselling session.
Wish me luck...I've really got my fingers crossed here...

It's a great day today, so maybe you and your wife could go for a walk together or something. Everyone needs a break from number crunching.

here she is keying in the mobile phone bills for the 1,000s (literally) of txt messages she sent to lover boy.
and she mentions that I should keep on top of paper work more....
Well if I had - I would have discovered the affair a lot sooner. It was the mobile phone bills for the last tax return 3 months ago that that kinda put all the straws in one place and set all the alarm bells off! A serious wake up & smell the coffee moment for me.
And so I sit and think to myself if she had helped in the 1st place, I would not have had to do all the business myself spending long hours away, which meant we would have been together more, and the affair might not have happened in the 1st place. HO HUM. Wish I could just go up to her say DOH! YEAH!
