Just a question to all the parents... leah: Being a mother or father is it right to just set your son infron of the tv and spend no time with him? My oldest sons father dose this on a regulure basise and thinks this is ok. My husband comes to see the kids whenever he can we are seperated right now. My oldest calles him daddy because he actually pays attenchion to him and my oldest father is upset with this. Whet is right when it comes to parenting?

Re:Just a question to all the parents... Cizzler: This is sad. If the biological father has a problem with your husband being called daddy by his son, maybe he should make more of an effort to be the daddy.
Dont put your boy in the middle of things though. It's probably confusing enough for him.

If he's parking the kid in front of the TV as a babysitter so he doesn't have to interact with him, then yes, I'd have a problem with it if that's all he does when he's with my kid. If they've had a busy day and the kid is tired and cranky and needs to unwind, then yes, I admit, I've given my kids snacks and parked them in front of the TV.
