Trying to make sense of it all... oncehappy: We've had our problems, like every married couple, but worked them out...now I am facing yet another - number 3 - of my wife's flings after many years of marriage. I'm pretty much done with it all yet have always been a one-woman-man...it's hard to imagine myself with another woman one day.

Re:Trying to make sense of it all... loshyra: Welcome to OJAR oncehappy. I am sorry to hear about your wife. It is hard when someone cheats. And it never gets any better. However I must say that 3 flings?? I would think that by that time ANYBODY in your situation would be ready to walk away. It seems that she is not ready or willing to change her ways...or she would have after the first.
I know what you mean about imagining yourself with someone else. With my first ex I was like that. Sooner or later you will be able to wake up and WANT to start dating. Unfortunatly it is uaually later then it is sooner.
You have found a good bunch of people and a great forum to discuss your issues with. And you will find that you are totally surrounded by friends.

Re:Trying to make sense of it all... oncehappy: My main challenge is raising our 10-year-old daughter with a good moral strength. My wife and I are separated and will be divorcing soon. She has dropped her original boyfriend but merged with another at the same time - and we are still married - what kind of message is this speaking to my daughter. It's driving me nuts!
