Can't even think of a title jt5639: I just feel drunk on grief today - does anyone else ever feel that way? My head is spinning, my eyes blurry through tears...

I tried writing a letter, but words are so insignificant sometimes - just makes me feel like a fool. I'm just so sad, dissapointed, so overwhelmed by how incomprehendable his actions are to me sometimes. I am just grieving so heavily today...any spare hugs out there?

It's tough, this roller coaster ride. I know the feeling you are describing. But you know that there are brighter days ahead...you can survive this dip. I know you can!

I think the best advice I got when feeling down was to not feel guilty about being down. I don't know if you are feeling that way or not, but my guilt about feeling bad about a bad marriage dying made my sorrow that much worse. You are going to have down days, and you are allowed to! I know they suck...but you can do it!

Take care,

Amy

I have these days as well....and I hate them >:(

You know its ok to cry, and quite helpful as well.
So make this day a crying day and put sad songs...it helps me when I do this...I let it all out. I am finding my crying times are not as long anymore...as time goes by and I make sure to feel those feelings to the maximum...they say each time you cry you are actualy healing a part of yourself...I know we don't like this crying phase...but in knowing its healing us...it makes it more bearable...

Re:Can't even think of a title raistlynne: Today is friday... Get some sappy movies, ice cream and any other comfort food you can get your hands on (no cooking allowed at all today). Immediately get back in your jammies, close the curtains, start the movie and cry until your eyes can't any more. It's okay to do this. As a matter of fact, it's important and necessary to your healing process.

If you have a pet, be sure to cuddle them while you do this. If you don't have a pet, you can borrow one of mine.

Well, except the gray one. That one belongs to the stbxh.... the other two are just as huggable though, and ready with their cold noses and sloppy kisses on demand.
