My Gay Husband. Unfortunately. sigkapgirl: Okay, so I'm not just saying that to get your attention. Is there anyone else here who is in this situation because your husband/wife decided they were gay? Because I am SO incredibly embarrassed and would love some alternate perspectives on this, because I sure as heck don't know how to handle it...
Any advice/stories/etc would be greatly appreciated!

My first husband is gay..I left him before he had a chance to come out of the closet but I always knew things just werent right. It can be a big blow to the self esteem of a woman believe you me..but remember its nothing you did or anything wrong with you. My ex finally explained to me that he wasnt ready to accept himself as being gay and that he basically used me as a cover and to have children. ::) Those children he now has nothing to do with because his partner hates kids.. >:( Anyway.. I know how embarrasing it can be..( I have nothing against homosexuals btw) its just people would look at me and go..What did you do to him? and then snicker.. real funny right? NOT! Just remember you are not the only one! Hang in there!

Though is there a way to tell even if the guy isn't out of the closet or is still in denial? Cuz if my friend is gay, he's so far from any gay man I've ever met (but what a better way to hide? LOL)
Cuz now he spent some time flirting with me this afternoon -- lots of suggestive hints as usual -- then says oops, my dinner is ready and signed off. ARGH!! If I didn't have my kids tonight I'd drive over there! And I was gonna call the ex and say I'd pick them up later, cuz I had some unfinished business, LOL, but the kids are already driving him nuts (he's had them for 45 minutes so far) and he wants me to come get them ASAP.
