A question about a product... admin: I have been approached to help promote a new product to OJar-ians.
Before I do, I want your opinions as this is a new product and nothing like it exists.
The product is a unique report which you order online.
It is not a credit report.
Rather, it shows you EVERY public record where the person shares your name.
So if your name is "Mary Smith" you will find out everthing about anyone with that name.
This system delves into records of ownership, court records, land ownership records, legal records and so on.
It is the sort of report that is pulled when you apply for a job. It also might help explain why you didn't get a job you thought you were perfectly qualified for but failed to get without a reason.
You might also have a better idea next time the cops pull you over why they are doing EXTRA checking.
What do you think?
Is this something someone on OJar.com would want?
Is this a "lemon" (bad idea) or a "rocket" (good idea) for a product?
I have no financial stake in the company but before I put a link on my site I want to know if it's something that people would want.
They charge $80 for a report.

Re:A question about a product... penguin: I would like that. It'd be great!
if I had $80!
Re:A question about a product... amola: if i had a spare $80 (hahaha) i'd do it....but i might get to that point soon to where i can afford it. so i say yes. it's a rocket. (or at least a firecracker!)
:)

Re:A question about a product... Samarra: I'ld definitely spend $80.00 for a report like that. However..is this legit? I'ld be wary of posting a link to a site I didn't check out thoroughly first. Lots of scams out there.
Re:A question about a product... admin: Yes, I checked they are legitimate.
They are certified as a secure site and use basically the same source database as is used by the large corporations and thousands of government agencies.
