we went to the beach!!! stupify: i am really apprehensive about the beach.... too many sharks for my taste! anyhow, we also have what we refer to as the Chesapeake beach, which is actually chesapeake bay, so no danger of sharks, no big huge dropoff, no waves. perfect for kids!!!
my brother was having a sand soccer tournament at the big beach, so we were going to go to that.. after driving around for an hour to find somewhere to park (did i mention that i AM NOT fond of tourists?) i finally decided to nix the game and head away from the boardwalk, and away from all the people.
when we got out on the beach, i was really nervous that W would want to run straight out for the water.... but to my surprise, he was perfectly happy to play where the waves were rolling in. i was happy that we didnt have to go in the water, and he had a blast each time a wave came in... it was so much fun!!!
