newly single dad...
I'm a 30 year old single dad in NJ.
(i had caught my wife cheating)
It was hard enough meeting women when i was single, but now with a 4 year old son, where do i start??
I haven't been to bars or clubbing in awhile, since nowadays it was watching scooby doo or spongbob, lol.
Where have other people met other singles?

Re:newly single dad... jillieb44: I'm a single mom of 2 now, and I have a hard time getting out. So it's the internet for me as a screening, then I try to meet them on my weekends when the kids are with their dad.
So far so good. I'm not the kind to just go out alone

Re:newly single dad... Cowboy12: yeah, I guess it depends on the custody situation, the babysitter option is probably best, join a evening class, or go to the gym, anywhere really that suits your interests.

Re:newly single dad... whatnext: Well, you could start with a babysitter... what is your custody situation? Mine is joint, so we both have "off" days (of course my stbx has more "off" days than most, ba dum bum ching!)
People can meet at work, or at a cafe -- anywhere you can run into the same person more than once.
Bubba will for sure have some thoughts here... I think he has a young son.
