Movies on the couch ChiefWiggum: My absolute favorite thing to do with my stbxf was to lay on the couch and watch a movie. Especially a "dorky" movie she is totally disinterested in so I can scratch her head and she can fall asleep in my arms. For me, there's no better feeling. I miss it so much.

me too. It's been hard getting over the day to day "being" there of my ex. That's the part that is hard now because I have 2 kids and it's sort of hard for my boyfriend and I do get alone time to do that. I do appreciate it more now when I get to.

Re: Movies on the couch Navy Blue: We'd watch Jeapordy, Law and Order, or whatever. She'd put her legs on my lap and I'd rub her feet and legs. It was one of those nice, loving things that is low key but very meaningful. Now it is gone. It is the emptiness I can't get over.... Especially as the day comes to an end and things start to quite down.
We need to focus on the good memories....
