ex remmaried?? betteroffalso: Does anyone know how to find out if someone got married out of the country? I think he may have gone to the Bahamas or something. His GF has been signing documents "Mrs." now and they told her children they are married. I looked up public records in their county but nothing shows. Thats why I think they either went to another state or country. I have tried a few states, but I dont even know which county to begin in!?! Does anyone know??

Re:ex remmaried?? sourpuss: i don't know if it's true, but i thought if a couple who are normally resident of the usa get married elsewhere, they have to register that marriage in their home state or it isn't recognized in the usa.
but i have no idea who you'd ask.
