FUMING at the moment!!! faegonsgold: >:( I am so incredibly angry right now.  I got a call from my chiropractor stating that workman's comp is no longer paying for my treatment.  Instead workman's comp decides I need to go see another doctor who is an hour from where I live because they feel I need a second opinion.  Hello!!!  My chiropractor was my second opinion.  How many friggin opinions do you need??????  Then they tell me they shouldn't even be talking to me because I've hired an attorney.  So I said "Fine I'll just give my attorney a call" and hung up on them.  Oh i'm so mad right now--I'd hate to see what my bp is......

This all started last September when i was involved in a motor vehicle accident while on company property.  I'm still mad at that driver who ran the red light and t-boned us.  >:(  It's his dang fault but I'm paying for the consequences and heartache.  I got horrible treatment at the hospital, horrible treatment with my primary care physician TWICE and now this!  And to top it off, they've already scheduled an appointment for me and I have to take off work for it--um excuse me but shouldn't you be consulting with me FIRST to determine a good time for me to visit a doctor because YOU think I need a second (or shall I say third) opinion?!


Re: FUMING at the moment!!! acidflask: Have you asked them if you can reschedule the appointment. It sucks that you'd have to miss work just because THEY want you to see another doctor before they cover your claim. Maybe since it is a workmans comp. issue your employer would cover the time missed.

I really hope things work out better for you.  Wish I knew more about this stuff to give better advice. ;D
