STBX and rumors ChrisJane: My vent for the day:
Well my STBX has taken another step to make my life miserable.
He has went around town telling everyone how I signed for his support papers to avoid him knowing about any deadline dates. He forgets he called me when he got them to complain how greedy I was. I even told him the final date to request a hearing which he ignored. Plus his mom is the one who signed for the papers because they were mailed to her home not mine. Then he tells everyone he got his support dropped $500 a month. He made sure this news got to me only minutes after I found out my uncle died of cancer.
I feel like I'm back in grade school. Why can't he be grown up about this? He's almost 40 years old and I think our 10 year old acts more grown up.
My attorney assured me they can't reduce the support without a hearing and we would have to be notified. He said not to let it get to me because thats what the stbx wants.
