Is it considered kidnapping!!!!!!! Chrissy315: My sister recently left her mentally abusive, and drug using husband! Im trying to get information for her because he is trying to scare her back into the marriage.
She lived in Tennessee, and got sick of him (Finally) and moved back to Ohio. He is on every drug from crack to meth. He has told her that because she left the state she kidnapped their children! They are still married, not even legally seperated.
Is this kidnapping? ???

I have a friend who lives in Ohio, she and her husband haven't lived together for 2 years, but never filed for separation. His girlfriend and friends literally jumped her at a school function and she left town with both kids and didn't bring them back. He was able to file kidnapping charges against her. Even though neither parent had filed for custody of the children, he was able to file because she took them without his permission.
