how to explain this.......

we all know that i've been trying desperately to refi my house to get butthead's name off the mortgage. the latest company that i've been working with has been really great, especially the actual loan guy. we tend to get off subject while we're on the phone and yap about all kinds of crap. anyway, at one point he says that the company is trying to hire people to work out of their homes to do the initial contacts with the loan applications--get the applicant to fax in their w2's, check stubs, etc. he thought that since i had a "great phone voice" that i would be good at it. i'm like, uh huh, ok, whatever.

couple of weeks later, he calls me again with more particulars about the refi.....asks me to send him my resume.......ok, whatever.........i had told him about the change in my full-time job and the horrendous consequences that it was going to have on me, so he really pushed me to send it to him. so i did.

today, i get a phone call from the recruiter guy from the company. he went over the job in excrutiating detail.......sounds simple enough. he goes over the salary..........***WHOA*** like 3x what i'm making now.....ok, needless to say, my interest just went through the ozone layer.......he said he was going to send me a thing to fill out online......personality profile kinda' thing. and have someone else call me.

so.......later today, this manager-type person called me. actually interviewed me over the phone. yikes. i think i did ok with it, actually.

got the little personality profile deal in my email and filled that out.

someone is supposed to call me tomorrow with more info. sounds pretty promising.......lol

oh, and the refi? house was reappraised yesterday, and i have a good feeling about it. basically, all we're waiting for on the refi is the red tape. it's almost definitely a go.

so, if this all falls into place.....
