Re: Chat Bugs admin: I just checked with the developer of the Chat Room software.
The random smiley problem is being worked on as we speak.
The problem is that the smileys do not move up the screen as fast as the line of text they were on.
I will update the software as soon as he makes the software available - next few days I hope.
This problem doesn't make the chat unreadable, it just makes it look like there is a floating smiley which doesn't line up with the text.

Re: Chat Bugs admin: I am glad that performance in the chat rooms is fast. We had 7 people in there at one time and it worked flawlessly. So moving to a dedicated server was the right thing to do.
To your points.
I will be working on changing the name displayed in the room today.
Last night I fixed the 'who is in chat' at the bottom of the message board to show the 'display name' instead of the 'sign up name'.
The random smilies seem to be related to Firefox, I will check that today as well. Maybe the random smilies are there to cheer everyone up! (just kidding, of course). ;)

Chat Bugs AloneandCold: Sometimes when talking the screen inserts random smilies on top of sentences.
Also this isn't really a bug but it shows the screen name I signed up with, is there any way to get it to show the name I want?

Re: Chat Bugs AloneandCold: I've had a couple right on some words, but its not so bad you cannot read it. :) Oh and the default color settings makes it hard to read the text sometimes. Which is not a big deal except if you do not know how to change the colors. :)
Re: Chat Bugs admin: Setting the right colours and background make a huge difference.
Just click on 'Options' and pick the background, fonts and other preferences you like.
I like plain colours but if you're in the mood for something bright, 'go for it'.
