Ahhh space bar that works freovir: In the spirit of the new me that i discovered recently, I am going to try and post daily on this forum.
So here it is, TODAY'S GOSPEL IN THE LIFE OF FREOVIR
Last saturday I bought a new keyborad. Being cheap (public school teacher) I bought the cheapest one OfficeMax had for $14.99. The space bar did not work, or it didn't work unless you hammered it. Being me, I immedietly tossed the box and the receipt in the garbage before this minor malfunction came to my attention.
Today I brought it back to OfficeMax sans receipt and box. No store credit, but i could exchange it for an identical one. It would still be a $14.99 keyboard. I should explain that I purchased the keyboard at an OfficeMax in *********, Michigan, some 130 miles away and attempted to return at a local store.
What makes this a "something wonderful happened today," you ask? Well, the wonderful people of OfficeMax (Shannon and Gayle) were willing to call the store I purchased said keyboard, and they were willing to search the computerized receipts for my receipt, which they found, thus providing me with store credit and hence my new Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard with more features than I will ever learn to use.
Life is good with spaces.
