Anyone heard of internet divorcing?

Anyone heard of internet divorcing? saddayin the bay: How does this work? My stbx got the papers from a company called legalzoom. They sent her the papers on email to download. Do they do the divorce or just the paperwork to carry to the courthouse. i am being blindsided. Luckily, i have a friend in iraq where she is and he fills me in on whats going on. Sometimes I wish i didnt know. :'(
Re:Anyone heard of internet divorcing? inebr: legalzoom? strange name I know there's a lot of those sites where you can download the paperwork, my stbx had looked into them at one point. I would be surprised, though, if going through a court at some point could be totally bypassed, but then, I never looked into too far. You could probably look into this on the internet to see what exactly the requirements are or maybe someone else on here knows.

I hope you're doing ok. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Sometimes not knowing what they're up to is better than knowing. Try to focus on your needs right now. I know how hard it can be at this point. Just take it minute by minute. Don't forget to eat and sleep. Take really good care of you.
Re:Anyone heard of internet divorcing? saddayin the bay: Eat and sleep? What is that? going on 6 hrs the last 4 days and am forcing myself to drink 2 things of protein shakes a day to stay somewhat normal looking. Lost quite a bit already. This is the worst feeling I have ever had. :-\
