My appeal was approved!! Smiley17: A few weeks ago, I had to send in an appeal to get my 6 year old's school changed based on day-care needs. If he went to the original school he was registered to go to, it would have cost me almost $200 / wk for the after school program.
I had to send in a very convincing letter to the registration and school board indicating why and how it would be a hardship for him to attend that shool. Well, the letter worked, and my appeal was approved last night!!
He can go to the school I had chosen, to the day care I've chosen and now it will cost me less than $50 / wk instead of $200!!!
I'm so proud of myself!!!
Plus, he can go to school with 2 kids he already knows! :D

Re: My appeal was approved!! tyrogers: ROCK ON!!! I am waging that war myself right now. Gotta get T changed to the elementary school in my mom's district so he can get off the bus @ her house. She keeps my two and my sisters two. Two of the four are toddlers so it would be hard for her to pack up M and J to go pick up T at his school and rush back to get K off the bus. Whew! I love my mom! LOL
