Creepy, or Beautiful? Phyxius: I am a fan of Family Plots, a reality show on A&E. I saw this on last night's episode, and I'm just not sure what I think about it. There's a creepy element to it, to be sure, but I also found the idea intriguing...

Re: Creepy, or Beautiful? wowee: Although I find the sentiment is beautiful & the fact that someone loves so deepy is beautiful, the ring is creepy to me - partially because of what it really is & partially because I do not believe in "separating" any of the ashes from the rest. I know when you place the ashes somewhere like the sea, a field – wherever your loved one wanted, the ashes eventually separate themselves. But that is the same as the act of love. You let them be free to be & go where they want & hopefully if the love is real they will still always be with you in spirit. It just seems wrong to me to take a part of a person away & use it to make jewelry instead of letting their ashes travel freely.
