You've got to be kidding me! sigkapgirl: Okay, so remember date boy? (See thread "Ugh") Okay, background - he's been walking me to my car as much as possible for the past week, but to the point of almost creepiness. Like, he'll be parked in a totally different parking lot from me. But okay, I can just brush that off.
Well, tonight after class, I was outside talking to a different guy (who was parked right down from my car). After about 15 minutes a car pulls up. Its date boy. HE FOUND ME IN THE PARKING LOT. He seriously had to have driven around to do that.
So, I'm kinda to the point of creeped out. Am I being paranoid?? Or is he actually being kinda stalkerish creepy??
Blah.
Re: You've got to be kidding me! jason_stl: Did you ever just come out and tell him that you weren't interested in him? No offense but walking a girl to a car is a job reserved for nice guys looking to get dates, boyfriends, or guys who think of you as a little sister.
It sounds a little stalkerish to me.
Then again, I could be way off base. Yep there is always that possibility.
Re: You've got to be kidding me! Kameee: Without knowing any more details this is definitely obsessive type behavior. He should have just drove off figuring he would talk to you another day not drive around to track you down and then even though your with another guy, he intrudes anyway. I'd say he definitely must be reading signals into your behavior with him (real or imagined) so I'd suggest being blunt. Saying what a good friend he is and your glad that it is not more than that because it makes things so much easier and less complicated. But I'd start finding other people to walk out with that are parked in the same area because if he is obsessed and stalking, you don't want him to get you alone somewhere. Good luck, be careful, and above all, trust your gut instincts. If they tell you something is OFF or ODD, it definitely is! Better safe then sorry!
Re: You've got to be kidding me! Smiley17: TH - Do me a favor little sis, and think about getting some pepper spray, if you can.
Not to scare you, but you're 22, cute, and live alone. You need something to protect yourself, just in case date boy becomes scary boy.
Just lookin' out for ya, hun!
Re: You've got to be kidding me! sigkapgirl: Well, thank god, date boy doesn't know exactly where I live, just the general vicinity. He also doesn't have my phone numbers or anything. I use to carry some mace around with me, on my key chain. The good thing, there are several people at school aware of the situation!
