Re: Hanging Over My Head kuhnga: Is there an adultry route? I dont think there is
Hanging Over My Head rjack0612: I had previously given my wife and myself a deadline of August 1st to try and save our marriage. On the day in question she still stated that she was working on herself. So at that time I said goodbye and have cutoff all contact. I called our lawyer and gave the information for my side and my demands. She never showed up at the lawyer yet. I was trying to do the divorce with "our" atty to keep the cost down by filing no-fault even though she cheated and I have more than enough proof to go the adultry route.
What do I do now? Why is she the one dragging her feet and prolonging this mess? In addition, my son has stated he wants to live with me. He is not happy living wuth her sister and her family. HELP!!
Re: Hanging Over My Head kuhnga: I am in Pa and have filed. My lawyer(s) basically said she could have been with 17 guys and it dont matter for custody or settlement. (Unless she is doing it in front of the kids). From what I understand adultry will only effect alimony in a no fault state
Re: Hanging Over My Head Lumpy: Why contact her? Just file. If she chooses to continue to ignore it then you can set terms.
