emily brought home a homework assignment for preschool--she had to trace everyone's hands on construction paper and make a "family tree" out of them. ex had her do his hand, her hand, and sarah's hand last night, then we did mine and jared's tonight. she cut them out completely by herself and i helped her with the glue to get it put together.....but it was just so cute that i had to share it....

My kids love tracing their hands and making things with them. Last year we made ghosts out of them for Halloween, and then there's the turkeys for Thanksgiving. I can use this project for "non-holiday" craft projects!!
