What do I wear to a hockey game? Ugh!

What do I wear to a hockey game? Ugh! ChristyM: Ok......  I've been to tons of football games and other sporting events, but this is a FIRST DATE.  I want to look like I knew I was going to a hockey game but also look nice (girly) to make a good first impression.

I've never been to a hockey game -- is it cold?  Do I have to dress a little warmer than usual?  HELP!!!!!!!

Also, keep in mind the guy is sending his limo down for me so I don't have to drive in Tampa traffic and try to find a parking spot.  That alone makes me feel like I should dress a little nicer.

Thoughts? Opinions?  Come on Ojarites -- don't let me down!

Re: What do I wear to a hockey game? Ugh! BigRunner493: come-on christy!!!  you can wear anything and i'm sure you'll look awesome, even if it's a huge hockey jersey!!  be comfortable....i would wear what i would wear to a football game (just not a football jersey!)  ;D

Bubba: A jacket.  It it a hockey arena, hence it will be cold!!  Seriously, depends on the team.  In Toronto you will see people in just regular clothes, such as blue jeans, and a jacket.  You will also see a lot of the town down business people in their suits.  Personally,  I just go in a pair of jeans, and normal shirt and a jacket.

 What do I wear to a hockey game? Ugh! ChristyM: It wasn't so much what I would wear as how much I would wear.  Since it's still in the 90's down here I didn't want to wear something that would cause me to freeze my butt off.
