Question for those in relationships
.

Question for those in relationships sadaboutdad: I am in a happy relationship (now).... and this seems to pose some problems for me.  How do I get guys to leave me alone and stop asking me out??  I don't mean to flirt, I think they take me just being nice as flirting (like there are no non-horny nice women out there). ::)  My husband (3months and counting) isn't always there on my arm to scare them off, and I guess they don't always look at the ring finger.

I am just sick of it!!  I feel like wearing a shirt that says "sorry, taken" so they will leave me alone.  And for all those of you out there going "oh how HORRIBLE, guys ask you out"  ::) and rolling your eyes at me, I just don't like letting people down or dissapointing them (I'm just about nerotic with it) I don't like hurting feelings.  It makes me very unhappy to tell them, and sometimes I get the feeling they don't beleive me and that I am just making it up so I don't have to say I'm not intrested.

Is there any way I can let them down easier....

My favorite way right now is to say "My husband dosen't let me date" and laugh... but I still feel bad about it.

Re: Question for those in relationships tyrogers: You gotta buck up and let em have it.  I had to.  I did not like being "mean" either, but, hey, sometimes you just gotta.  Let em think you are a bitch.  Who cares.  You are involved.  Just tell em.  It makes ya feel kinda bad at first, but after you do it a few times (trust me on this one)....it gets easier!  ;)

Hey, if you get that shirt, I want one too!  Either XS or S.  THANKS!  LOL

Re: Question for those in relationships dgiirl: Are these guys friends or total strangers?  If they are friends, they should know you have a husband.  You could drop a few hints about how you and your husband went so and so.  If they are total strangers just coming up to you, the funniest thing a friend of mine use to do is show her her wedding finger.  Just stick the wedding finger up by itself.  Made guys stop in their tracks lol
