Can I ask a question??

Can I ask a question?? Trillian: Ok so faegonsgold question in anything goes (http://ojar.com/boards/index.php/topic,20505.0.html) about getting pregnant and the fact that I am in massive pain....well it all had me thinking.  Is it me or do a lot of people have PAINFUL, and I mean wanting to just die...periods?  Mine is bad enough that there are days that I can't get out of bed because if I move I may throw up.  Days that I wake (even after sleeping pills) in the middle of the night CRYING cause I hurt so bad.  A lady on the bus told me this morning that she knew people that would burn themselves because they were in such horrible pain and they were using HOT, toooo hot sounds like) of heating pads to try and stop the pain....and would not notice that they BURNED their tummies....because they were in such pain from their periods. That is about the spot I am at right now...GOD I HURT!
If you have that bad of cramping, do you have any secrets to deal...
And before you ask, yeah I know it is bad..

Demeral :D  lol actually I am serious....I used to get horrible cramps when I was 19-20...I dont know why, but I actually passed out from the pain once, I woke up naked on the floor in the hall after getting out a freezing cold bath (figured I'd try cold...the heat wasn't working ::) ) and I finally went to the doctor.....the did prescribe me demeral it's the only thing that worked. I only had one day of cramps that bad every month...right at the beginning.
The problem just seemed to go away though.....my period barely bothers me at all anymore.
I'm sorry girl, I know what pain you are talking about, it sucks!!
Also give "Super Motrin" a try.....I used that when I had my kidney stones and couldn't take the narcotics because I had the kids.....it works pretty good too.

Trillian: Well lets see right now I am on Depo Lupron shots, every three months and then every day I take a half of a 5mg Methadone..  And I dunno, some months I am fine and NO pain and then others I am flat out on my back feeling like sh!t...  They actually took my appendix out because I had a cyst burst on my ovary and had every symptom of an inflamed appendix.  SUCK HMMM????  My doctors state that I have varicose veins in the abdomen and they think that is the whole issue....

IT does suck...been dealing with it since I was 9....I wish it would go away
