Pork Chops with Banana Peppers
Pork Chops with Banana Peppers Suddenly Single: 6 thick pork chops
italian bread crumbs
2 jars mild banana peppers sliced in rings (in store by pickles)
garlic, salt, pepper
trim pork chops
beat eggs with garlic, salt and pepper (to taste)
dip chops in egg mixture & then pat with breadcrumbs
heat olive oil in fry pan and brown each chop fast on each side
place in single file in a 9X13 pan
open 2 jars of peppers and place peppers on each chop - add all juice
cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes
flip chops with peppers on bottom
cover with foil and cook 30 minutes longer.

Suddenly Single: It is really good. Obviously you have to like those peppers. The only thing is that I never know what to serve along with it.....last time I did potatoes and cauliflower and salad. i just made up a receip too........I'll let you know if it turns out.
in_search_of: I love some banana peppers, that might be another thing to add to the list of things to see if G will eat....we have to come up with some new things, I am about sick of eating hamburger helper.
Suddenly Single: I'll let you know if Mexican surprise (just named it!) works out.....cuz it'll be a surprise if it tastes good!!! LOL
I took 1 cup rice, 1 can diced tomatoes (w/ onions & peppers), 8oz tomato sauce, 8oz of water, can of corn, can of kidney beans put in 4 chicken boneless and skinless...salt and peppered and put in oven at 350 for maybe about an hour I guess......I'll let you know.
