Is Her Attitude Changing dontgetit: So here is the question:
My wife left me on October 13th with my 10 year old daughter - on October 17th she introduced my daughter to her boyfriend of 3 weeks and announced that they were all moving in together on October 30th....The child refused and was sent home to me (I have since been given a court order - custody)......Another fact the man left his wife of 24 years for this new arrangement.....
So anyway my wife has recently been asking the odd question about me and it has gone from "your father" to "daddy".....Am I sensing a softening and perhaps a hint of regret (still cares) - or am I just wishing....
If she was happy where she is would she ask about me? initially she did not....

when i lookin the mirror i see you...you sak the same questions i do,if only to my self. experience has told me dont read too much into what she says all the time, like i'm lonely, or i miss you,or calling you daddy when around the child...all these i have experienced, and in my case trust me it hasnt meat a third of what i thought it might...dont mean to dash your hopes but...like i said you situation (i've read all your posts) sounds oh, so familar.
best case senario...she's softening....worse case senario...she's trying to gauge where youre at, for what ever reason-the "what ever reason" is the key to this eqation. see, there, i answered your quetion with a question. :-\

Re: Is Her Attitude Changing dontgetit: mrlament, you may be right this all started this week and this is the first week that I have had no contact - I do not answer phone any more (let my daughter get it)...She asked me to drop daughter off at her store and I said I would leave her at my other daughters store they work close to each other - so maybe she is trying to guage something....(but what)....interestinly after I posted the question my little girl told me that over dinner last night (by the way I gave my ex the money so dinner could happen - she asked me to drop it by her store and I opted to leave it with my other daughter for her) she heard her mother say that she was very happy and that she hoped my other daughter (the older one) has a happier life than she (my wife) had with me....
Re: Is Her Attitude Changing dontgetit: mrlament - what hurts is the woman is with a man who gives her no cash, she is working 10 hours days and has given up her daughter all to be away from me....I must have been some bad....that giving up a child is better than being with me - and to be oh so happy without your child shows I must have really put her through the wringer - I think it was you that said you crossed every line that could be crossed, I am the same way - trouble is the light bulb went on after she left.....cried wolf once to many times.....Or is she just kidding herself, I would die if my daughter was ripped fro me.
