Morning flashback..... Spectrum: So this morning I was lying in bed at my pseudo-bf's house, thinking about driving to my sister's for a get-together tonight.
My pseudo-bf got a phone call from one of his relatives, and made a comment along the lines of, "Yeah, I'm off for the next two weeks and I have no idea what I'm going to do with all the time, but I'll take it anyway!"
Briefly and reflexively I thought, "Since he's off and I'm off, we should head up the shore." WOW. On new year's and various other holidays where we had time off, my ex and I used to drive up Lake Superior's north shore and relax at his parents' vacation house on Lake Superior.
Talk about weird.... Then it occurred to me that this is my first holiday back home without the ex, so I guess it isn't that much a stretch to figure out where that came from. Last year I was alone over Christmas, living in VT.
Funny how almost two years later this came up and caught me by surprise.

I remember meeting you in Burlington at Olive Garden for supper the day after Christmas on my hellish long ride back from home ! I think I got you a teddy bear from duty free at Highgate Springs, VT !
