This is Just Wierd thehitekrednek: I have been seeing this lady for about 2 months. We haven't gotten serious, so I haven't told her my whole history yet, she hasn't asked either.
Recently I have started to notice similarities between her and my x, and I have become a little nervous.
Is this something I should be afraid of? I mean we are both in our early 40's so I mean there are going to be things that people do the same, right?

Now if you are seeing the same patterns perhaps..maybe teeny weeny red flags that you had with your wife that you ignored? Then maybe you need to reevaluate. I only say that..because I ended with a man a WHOLE lot like my ex..almost carbon copies ::)
But anyway..its only been a couple of months..you cant tell much about a person in that short of time...and if you like her..keep things going..Maybe you are just gunshy at this point and things that were like your wife are going to stand out in any woman you see because that is what you are used to.

Good to hear from you again, it's been awhile.
The things I see are not physical, they are little red flags, but I believe that the gun shy factor is a big part of it.
I really like her though, and I am going to go slowly into the exploration stage of this.

Yes it has been awhile hasnt it? ;) Good to see you ..and Im glad to see things are going well. I think everything you are going through and seeing in this are pretty standard for re entering the dating game. If you like her..then go for it. Only time will tell if the red flags truly something you need to be seeing or just something residual left over from your divorce.
