My Friday date was cancelled, I'm crushed... harmonix321: I haven't cried in weeks but I'm so close right now. Somebody tell me I'm intelligent and charismatic (obviously nobody here can speak for me being attractive). I've been talking to this girl I like for several months now and a week ago I asked her on a date this Friday. Well she just cancelled it without giving a reason except "I can't, I'm sorry, but we should hang out sometime really soon."
I joked that "I'm crushed, but I'll survive... barely." I kept my dignity I guess but I think I'm done with her. I don't deserve being hung by a string. I'm a f-cking great catch, damnit!.
Normally this wouldn't bother me so much but I was so excited. I think I even said so in another thread of mine. :-\

I know it's frustrating ... and it's only a date ---- but IT'S A DATE! It seems like everything just keeps piling up and the one little good thing that was peeking out ... went away.
Maybe something came up that isn't good for her --- just try to gauge it again and don't get too frustrated.[/color">

I'll keep an open mind but I can't think of anything reasonable that would've ate her whole Friday evening that she wouldn't automatically mention. She didn't even offer another time for us to get together. She did say she felt bad but if she likes me at all she's going about this really badly.
