Positive story for those in hopes of reconciling vonmon69: Hi. I was posting here about 8 months ago about my husband and I. You see, he was cheating with a coworker and wanted to leave me for her. He did, and I was in so much pain. I went through hell. We even had our default hearing date set. Well, when I finally stopped all the theatrics of trying to hurt him and hurt her, and just as I decided to move on with my life, he came back. I was very skeptical. But I allowed him to come home to me and his then 8 month old son. Things were hard - the doubt, the questions, the worry, but eventually I saw that he was going to stay for real.
He has since started going to church and reads the bible all the time. He's found his faith and says he thanks God everyday for saving our marriage. He says he loves me more now than he ever has, and in fact, he wants us to have another baby.
I'm telling this story for everyone to know that for some people, reconciling can work. I still have my hard days, but he is always there telling me he's sorry and that he loves me. We are growing stronger every day.
Stay strong, everybody. Regardless of if you reconcile or not, things will get better.

Re: Positive story for those in hopes of reconciling tracy: Good Luck... I am happy to read a post like yours. I have been going to church too, I believe God answers prayers. I think going to church has helped me a lot so far too... I am stronger and have been praying for my husband to open his eyes and see what he is doing, he seems to be coming around. I don't think this wouldn't have happened without the work of the Lord, that’s for sure...

But I pray to God every day, and I have given my sorrow to Him. If it is His will that we get back together, then it shall be. If not, I have to believe that He has someone waiting in the wings for me......
Re: Positive story for those in hopes of reconciling turboss: vonmon....i am so glad that your husband found God...I believe that is the only sure fire way you can know that your spouse is truly going to stick around....if they do it through the help of the Lord...and with him....it CAN work out....I am happy for you:)
