Sick and sick of him hurtnlost: This week has been so horrible. I have migraines a lot and Tuesday I got hit with a migraine that lasted for 3 days and also had strep throat on top of that with body aches and pains and cold to hot and vice versa. Least to say I was so sick I thought my head was going to explode. So my family lives 4 hours away and all my available friends have been sick as well. I call my ex husband hoping he could come help out with the kids who are 2 and 5 while I go and see a dr. After me calling him at 3 on tuesday he finally shows up at 8 and takes me there only to complain on the way up and on the way back at how he is not responsible for me anymore since we are divorced. I said to him that not to worry about me but help with the kids that he says he puts first above all else. So the doctor tells me that I am contagious for 24 hours and I say to my ex who gets the kids every other weekend do you care to take a day off to take them with you so I do not give them this and hopefully I can get some rest to feel better. He said no - that he had to work and he was not going to do it. I could not beleive it! It was not about me but our kids so they would not be sick and he would not help. So Wed. I had to get up and drive to town to get my prescription filled and come home and try to function and make dinner for the kids with a splitting migraine, and no help from noone. It really confirmed how uncaring of a person he can be and how i am better off really.
