Happy Anniversary to Me? niceguy: What a long strange trip it's been....
One year ago today I registered on Ojar. Reflecting back on the past year first and foremost I want to thank each and every person here on this site. Honestly I don't know how I would have made it without everyone here. You are some of the most caring people I've met and I can't say it enough THANK YOU!! :)
HavingFun, ataloss, Achingallover, Justmenow, CurrentlyConfused...you've helped me through some of my darkest hours ... you mean the world to me. Down2basics you always seem to post something that brightens my day when I need it most. Thank you all. I know I need to mention more people, but I'm getting a bit emotional..so just know you all mean a lot to me. Oh and of course I have to thank Michael for creating this site in the first place.... I feel like I'm giving an oscar acceptance speach or something....
On a personal note looking back over the past year, it's pretty amazing to me how far I've come and I feel like I could post one of the "it's better on the other side" posts. I'm almost an Ojarian gaduate, my visits are much less frequent although I still do try to catch up from time to time. You're all in my thoughts and prays..

Then I thought... wow, we are in a new place now. We do not need to cry on each others shoulders everyday. Now, it is just every once it awhile. It is really great! Thanks for being a good friend to me. ;D

I'm looking forward to the completion of my own first OJAR year in the next couple of weeks, too bad I don't know the exact date since I lost my original password and can't access my first few messages! (Michael???) But I know just what you mean -- what an up and down year! It feels so wonderful to be on the other side, or at least as far across as I could possibly be at this point.
