Well, it was bound to happen eventually....

Well, it was bound to happen eventually.... LifeisBetter: Today, just like every other day, I go out to lunch at my usual place.  I am pulling into the parking spot and there is this guy staring at me, stopped in his tracks.  I was about to ask him what his problem was - I mean he was STARING at me dead in the eyes.  It took only a second but I finally figured out who it was.  my ex-husband.  I haven't seen or spoke to him in nearly 2 years and here I see him today (of all days).

Well, he is married... to the woman he cheated on me with.  Part of me feels that I should feel sad about this.  So he married her.  Wow, a woman SO COMPLETELY different than me.  I said to him "I thought you said you never wanted to marry her?"  His reply was "Well, I guess I lost a bet so, Yeah, I'm married."  I was surprised to hear they won't be having any kids.  He always wanted to be a Dad - but now he is a step-daddy to 6 kids (one of which is only 8 years younger than him!)

I felt no feelings when I saw him - I didn't feel one twich of pain or sorrow or missing him.  I kinda felt sorry for him.  He was surprised that I am not married yet, and he did ask me if I am dating someone.  I said yes.  Now I just can't wait to go home tonight and spend the evening with a very special someone and take stock at how improved my life is and how far I have really come.  I guess this is the final closure for me.  I always wondered if he married her.  Now my questions are answered.
