That is one of the nicest things I've heard in a while. Now I'm going to get ready to meet with my lawyer at 3:30 and get this divorce thing over and done. Today I take another step towards my freedom. Closure, I need closure. Heaven help me...

To say that I'm scared shitless would be the understatement of the month. I feel like crying like a little girl and I can't stop it. I'm sure I'll have a long conversation with my mother on the phone tonight... A very long one because I will need all the words of encouragement she tells me to make me feel better.
Right now I wish I weren't so far away from my family... I could use a hug... a thousand hugs. Or someone to hold my hand while I cross the door at the lawyer's office. But once again life puts me in a situation where I have to face things all alone and prove myself I'm stronger than I give myself credit for.
