I wish...

I wish... abandoned1: ...I could concentrate on all of the annoying things my STBXW used to do.  I wish I could concentrate on all of the things I didn't like about her, the person - but I can't.  It would help me concentrate and focus on what I need to do to move forward and leave the pain, sadness, anger behind.  Actually, honestly, I wish I didn't have to think about her at all  - but seeing that we haven't filed yet, I can't do that.  All this legal crap is still hanging out there.  I wish the divorce was over and done with.  Unfortunately, my wishes never come true.  DAM*IT!!!

Re: I wish... outoftheblue3: I feel your pain.  My STBxH decided he didn't love me anymore.  He did all of these horrible things, and when theya re written down on paper I know I deserve MUCH better, but I can't seem to get myself to fully concentrate on that.  I miss the man he was.  I just have to keep reminding myself that I WILL find someone better out there and the person I'm thinking about all of the time is not the same person anymore.

But that's sooooooooooo easier said than done.  I'm sitting here miserable too.

Divorce brings out the worst in people so by the time you are divorced there's an 80/20 chance you will hate each other. 

If they dumped on you during the marriage they feel doing it but with bigger helpings.  There is a frieght train of shiot coming down the hill headed your way.  You can stand there with your mouth wide open in shock or duck for cover. 

It only last about a year, if your lucky.
