Burnt Milk - YUCK! Crystal_Blue_024: I really hate it when I go to Starbucks and ask for my latte "extra hot" - I ask for extra hot becuase usually the latte ends up being luke warm, and I like my coffee hot... Okay... "Extra hot" does not mean scortch the milk so there's a layer of nastiness of the top, and all I taste is burnt milk... Like the nasty burnt milk you find at the bottom of a saucepan after you make cream of wheat... Ick....

Wherezmygun: go back and get a refund , and tell them you want a weeks free of coffie if not your sending in the army to take control of starbucks lol...im sure there is a 800 number you can call to file a complaint and they will send you cupons fro free shit i do it all the time

speaking from my starbuckian barista days...

the standard for starbucks is to steam the milk to 160 degrees.  they should not be going over 180.

try it at 170.  it should be hot enough for ya, and the milk should not scald at that temp.  and the barista should know that...
