HAHAHA THE LEFT FOR A CIRCUS CARNIE FREAK SAGA CONTINUES LOL!!! Trish: OH my what an ego self esteem booster I finally got tonight.  My ex came by to visit with the kids and take them to get ice cream.  Well he brought one of our very good friends (20 years friendship he and I) with him and when my ex was gone Mark and I sat on the couch and he was silent as if he wanted to say something.  Then it happens.  I broke the ice.  I said "I can tell you met the ugly women he left me for".  HE JUST LOOKED AT ME FOR 5 MINUTES  ???

He then said "I have no comment but DAMN!"  He just kept shaking his head in awe.  GAWD THAT FELT GOOD.  Cause you know when you are jaded and you think the other one is ugly but maybe your the only one who thinks she ugly cause your jaded?  Then you go into this place where you think "OH MY GOD, I'M UGLY TOO CAUSE HE HAS THIS THING FOR VERY UGLY GIRLS IT SEEMS"  Then you get a confirmation that YOUR NOT FREGGIN UGLY I'M A 10 AND SHE IS A HUGE ZERO FROM YOUR OLD TIME FRIEND.  Trust me this friend is not a liar nor is he a sugar coated guy either.  OH THAT FELT NICE! 

Sorry but I needed that.  Good to know I'm not crazy.  Just another piece of recovery coming my way.  I think the best revenge is living good, looking your best and enjoying life.  I plan on doing all those things.

Trish: Thanks but now I feel crummy.  Only because it shouldn't make me feel better knowing or thinking she's ugly.  That's not cool.  But it felt good none the same and I shall return to a semi non judgemental person someday.  Even all this ugliness inside can match the outside of someone. 

I'm just living in a moment of feeling validated since thats all I got.  For now.  I feel like going out and dancing.  Time to celebrate my new future instead of crying over what is lost.

Midlife Crisis will one day end for him and he will have so many regrets.  He's already feeling it.  It's to late and it can't be fixed now.  It's a shame.

You'll be ok, which you already know.  I'm glad you realize how beautiful you really are, and how you WILL return to being the person you once were.  You have the upper hand and you hit the nail on the head when you said living well and looking good is the best revenge.  hugs!
