Car-Bike Accident
This is the ageement letter which I am going to write:
I, (my name/identifitcation number) has already settled the full amount $X for the repairs of (his name/identification number)'s bike and shall not be held responsible for any further future repairs of the bike.
I have not thought of the medical fees part. How should I put it that the person is fine and does not require any medication and I will not have to pay for his future medication not related to the incident?
Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated, this is my first accident and I'm pretty much traumatized by it. Please guide me through if you can. Thanks again...
Re: Car-Bike Accident C-Note: I'm not certain of the availability of free legal counsel in your state, but here in CT once a week you may consult with the local district court judge or public prosecutor for free.
You can not hold them liable for the advice they give, but they are experts and I have found this service to be helpful.
I had an agreement written during one of my visits to settle damages my Ex made while driving my car. She T-boned a SUV. At the time I had no insurance and the guy didn’t want to gamble winning a court case and not being able to ever collect because I was just a college student then.
If free legal counsel isn’t available I would at least pay a lawyer for an hour or two to write up something and have him present as a witness when the agreement is signed and notarized. That’s what I did and recommend you do.
