"One Last Wish"
So I've been trying to call him so we can meet to sign some joint refund checks I've received in the mail and he has been ignoring me for about a week. But he calls me this morning at work and tells me why he has been ignoring me and the main reason why he left me. I have been waiting nearly a year for some sort of explanation, so I was very anxious to finally hear it.
The reason he left me was because I turned into someone else during our marriage (I can see it now, and I admit I did change). His main complaint was our sex life.. or lack of. Well I guess now he sees me out, knows who I am dating at the moment, and knows I've been with other men so I think he is jealous. He is practically crying on the phone this morning asking why I couldn't be who I am now while we were married. I had no answer or explanation for him. He said he has been ignoring me b/c I have turned back into the person he fell in love with and it hurts him too bad to see or talk to me knowing I am with someone else. (hmmm.. I know the feeling :-\)
So he ended the conversation by saying he would meet me tonight to sign the checks. Then he asked if I wouldn't mind wearing a skirt... and thats it! ::) He asked for one last wish from me and if I wore a skirt tonight then he will leave me alone here on out. He said even dying men get one last wish, so why can't I grant him this last request. I told him he has his own girlfriend (the woman he left me for) to do things like that with so call her up and see if she is game because its a lost cause with me.
It felt good to shoot him down after he came practically begging & crying back for "one last good time". yeah right....

My ex wife called a couple of times after our divorce and begged to come back home. He main reason? Well, things have gotten so much better since the divorce. RIGHT! I haven't spoken to her for more than two minutes at a time... an only on a handful of occasions. I never see her. But still, she knows that things are so much better now.
I won't pretend to understand. But hey, put on those long pants and get those checks signed. Sure, you'll have to listen to him whine about not getting his wish, but oh well.

I get the whole "one last wish" thing, but not in your situation...what he did to you was uncool, so he shouldn't get anything he wants from you.
He should have talked to you about this 13 months ago.

Yes, it has been a rough week or so.... and yes his big "revelation" into his unhappiness would have been much more helpful 13 months ago!!!

The JERK had the guts to meet me at the bank with his girlfriend (the woman he left me for - she is 11 yrs older with 6 kids!) I guess since I wasn't willing to wear the skirt, he figured he would TRY and make me jealous. Too bad his little plan didn't work.... what a JOKE!!! When they got out of the car I just looked at them, laughed a little, shook my head and walked into the bank.
