Should I pay mitrexx: My wife left me 3 weeks ago claiming that she needs her independence and that she was to co-dependent on me. Also she need to be her own person. Now She is asking me to support her by paying for certain things like Car insurance and a couple of other things. Is this something that I should pay for until the divorce?

Re:Should I pay JTS: You are being unreasonable??? Wait a minute, she wants independance but she wants you to pay? That doesn't sound like independence to me. It sounds like she wants to be financially dependant on you yet have the freedom to do what she wants. I wish I could find that kind of an arrangement. Good luck.

Re:Should I pay caringmom: You've got to be kidding me!! Someone doesn't know the meaning of "independence". Don't give her a dime. She wants her freedom and independence, tell her to go for it, but not at your expense. Also, tell her to get a dictionary.
